Just recently on one of the threads, I was explaining how to do chain printing....but I left out an important step.
I discovered this when my batteries ran out and had to replace them. It must have reset something in the setup. When I went to print labels there was a huge gap between the labels! I was really surprised, and I didn't remember how to do the setup for chain printing. The instructions that I gave are still correct...
after you have the "chain printing " set up!
I had to go to the Brother support website. I just put in my model number. (Not the Brother website...it offers no help, that I could find anyway.) Here it is in case you want more help.
https://support.brother.com
If you have the PT-D210:
1. Press the
Label key
2. Press the arrow (cursor) key until
Margin is displayed
3.Press the
OK key
4. Press the arrow(cursor) key until
Narrow is displayed.
5. Press the
OK key
Then you are ready to go. To feed the tape correctly, the printer will automatically set a wider left margin for the first label only.
1. Enter the text to be printed
2. To print for the PT-D210, press the
Print key, and number of copies, if needed.
3. When the message
Feed OK appears after those labels are printed, if you want to print more, then you press the
Esc key, then go to backspace your last label, and then type in your new one. Continue this course of action after you print each label, ("Print") , "Feed OK", "Esc", "Backspace", then when you have printed your last label and you get, "Feed OK", press the "OK" key. Then press the cutter when all the labels are out, it will say,
Please Cut
If you have a different model than mine, you may use the link to the Brother support website. There will be a place to enter your model number on there.
I hope this helps!
