If the plant is already in your list, you go to your profile and scroll down to you plant list to access it.
Once you have the list open, find your Iris 'Sizzlin' Hot' and on the left side are several blue icons.
Click on the blue icon in the center, the one that looks like a calendar with a + sign on it. That's the event icon.
On that page, at the top are the events you already entered. You can edit them or delete them. Click the garbage can to delete the duplicate.
Always best to do any work on your list through your profile.
