Summers gone finally. Time to enjoy green leafy and root crops. In my case broccoli, cabbage( white and Chinese),cauliflower, collards, mustard, radishes ( both salad and winter). Carrots and rutabaga coming on for late winter. As soon as it drys out a bit, plant English peas (Willet Wonder) next month transplant onions. Ed; I am only 82 too young for those aches and pains. Only problem is slowing down. Takes me three days to do what I was able to do in a couple of hours 20 years ago. Getting slower than molasses in January.
