Yard is totally out of control since I haven't tended it since August. Focused on the front and pulled out summer plants, trimmed suckers from the crepe myrtle, planted pansies by the mailbox and mulched!
Looks bare but at least tidy; will add some snapdragons to fill in and that will be it until spring when the daffodils peek out. In our mild climate the pansies and snaps will grow well in fall, survive winter and put out a blast of color in spring (usually starting in late Feb.)
