Fothergilla 'Blue Shadow' is a wonderful smallish shrub, hope you can find one Mika. The leaves are beautiful grayish blue, and in early spring it has these cute bottlebrush blooms. I've seen a few bees on them, but no butterflies. Thinking it blooms to early for butterflies ...sure would make a pretty image.
