I don't know for sure, it's been in the garden for almost 30 years, so I can't be sure. Check out my landscape photo #527547 for a closeup view of the bloom.
Here in Michigan's zone 4b this dogwood only grows about 15 feet tall. It will only bloom if I fertilize it in late winter with acid fertilizer. Love the shade cave area it gives me in the heat of summer. We spend a lot of time together on hot summer days.
