Hi MIndi,

" Where did you get your green Velcro strips? I remember in another post that you had those and they were waterproof. I know I won't need them for awhile but just putting my ducks in a row. "

The green Velcro comes in two forms: 1/2-inch wide rolls and 2-inch wide rolls. For identification the 1/2-inch is not wide enough for me, so I cut the 2-inch roll into 2/3-inch wide strips, which work fine for me.

I write on the Velcro labels with Fine Point Black Sharpie pens, which remain legible despite the weather and sprinkling the plants.

Garden centers carry the 1/2-inch Velcro to attach plants to stakes, and the 2-inch Velcro to secure small trees to bigger stakes. In case you don't find the Velcro tape locally, you can always buy it off of Amazon.

We are in a rural location, and we have to spend gasoline to drive to a local town to buy stuff, so sometimes I just buy off of Amazon because it is easier. Amazon's "free" shipping sometimes seems to have some shipping cost hidden in the list price. But I don't sweat the small stuff.

I tip my hat to you.
