If you've been putting off joining the SSE because of the cost of membership, you'll be happy to hear that they have made a change to their policy -- as they put it, "Participation De-Coupled from SSE membership." (online participants must still create an account to see Lister names and contact information, however.)
The most recent SSE Yearbook shows that there are presently 358 listers, with 15,636 unique varieties and 19,451 total listings.
