Alex these fabulous pots are outside all year at Harlow Carr. When I was there last month they were already potted up with next year's tulips. They use them for summer bedding as well. They really are experts, being the Royal Horticultural Society I guess they would be, the plants are done lasagne style I believe with several layers of bulbs.
I can't wait to see next year's display!
