Rain, mainly before 10 am. Calm wind becoming NW around 5 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

I'm a day behind. I couldn't get on yesterday.

Kelli,
I do wonder where those worms came from. Since I don't know what they are, it scares me even more. I did check the wool blankets in the closet and they are fine. They were just sitting in a box and I put one on the bed.

Tx,
Did shopping for a blanket win out over garden chores?
I slice the apples and fry in a bit of butter, adding cinnamon and sugar. Making sure they will have juice, I put on a lid to get them to steam better. They're really good.
Boy, I hope I get an inch of rain out of mine, but I doubt it.

James,
I happen to like grey days so I love your picture.

Jonna,
LOL over the 50 Shades of Grey!
I love split pea soup too!
ROTFL over your car answering you but not hearing it.

Marilynne,
Laughing. May all of you check under your beds. The boogy man may come in all shapes and sizes!
How awesome to find your picture. You are a beautiful nurse! I'll bet your patients have the utmost trust in you.
I'm still freaking over it being that cold that fast!

Teacup,
Laughing. I switched my velour blanket out for a wool one and it's pounds heavier now. That's good for the dead of winter tho because I can't get warm if blankets aren't pressing down on me. In fact, my velour blanket might be fleece. It's not quite what I remember velour as being.

June,
You're there! I'm glad you didn't have to wait for de-icing. How cool to be way over there, yet here like you never left.

Sandy,
Nothing worse than wet heavy snow!

I thank all Veterans with heartfelt feelings for doing what they do.

For the first time in a long long time I have scooted the thermostat just over 70°, lol! It may go a micro meter more. I've decided I'm tired of being cold in the spring and fall when the furnace doesn't run so much.

The yahoos and I played War, Old Maid, Crazy Eights and Go Fish. I think they enjoyed War the most. Carly, who is 6, seems to have luck with cards. I told the boys they better stay out of Casinos.

During War, all three of us laid down an ace. Carly got them all.

It's FINALLY RAINING!!! A real rain!
