Leon,

Very beautiful photo! Interesting about the Miami Nation of Indians.

Decades ago, I grew up and lived in the Greater Dayton, OH area and lived in the Greater Cincinnati, OH area decades ago. I'm native to OH and lived there for 40 years, before moving down to northern KY where I met and married my husband, who isn't native to KY, but a transplant like myself.

I recognize the Great Miami River, the Little Miami River and the Miami Valley but didn't know (or remember) they were named for the Miami Nation of Indians til now. *Blush*

(Personal thought: "I strongly feel the US government cheated many native Americans out of their land and homes.") I agree.
Welcome to the Agastache and Salvias Forum!

Hummingbirds are beautiful flying jewels in the garden!
