Hello Dear Friends,
I'm back. And I've missed being here. It was a difficult summer dealing with a daughter's medical issue, but am happy to report that all is well now.
Other than a few quick errands, I didn't accomplish much today. I have a rampant case of Fall Fever, otherwise known as The Butterflies Are Migrating. It consumes a lot of time to wander around the yard in total amazement of these lovely creatures. I never tire of watching them fluttering about or making a brief stop to sip nectar. October is my reward for growing "weedy" native plants completely unsuitable for a manicured landscape. The butterflies seem to approve, and I'm happy to provide them with a pit stop on their journey to Mexico.
