The biggest thing you want to avoid is sending a box of mush so don't use plastic or baggies and send your cuttings before it gets too cold. Start by giving the donor plants a good drink of water.

The next day, harvest your cuttings and pack. Loosely wrap each cutting individually in newspaper. Fit them into a box with crumpled newspaper around the edges, top and bottom. Leave lots of air space but, when you shake the box, it should not rattle or shift.

If done properly, you should not have any breakage. Good luck!
