Yep, there is a tendency to make mountains out of molehills. Convenience is the biggest factor in choosing between Dipel and Thuricide type of Bt. It is very easy to pick up the dust gun and apply dust early in the morning. The liquid form needs to be mixed in a sprayer, but can applied anytime of the day. The shelf life of Bt is short once wetted so You you can't leave it sitting around for further use. I am a morning person who also tends to be lazy so I use the dust. I have used Thuricide but it is more work.
