Ed, I have grown and still try a few op tomatoes. Note tho that they are a struggle and my main crop is TSWV resistant varieties. Mountain Merit, Amelia and Bella Rosa being the best to date. I like yellow tomatoes and there are no good hybrid yellow beefsteaks since Super Gold was discontinued.

Never had PM on rutabagas, but timing and spacing are critical. Have to seed them in August for late winter harvest. They need 6 inches of space or they remain tiny hard roots. Main winter pest is Harlequin bugs.
