Or water it with Insecticidal Soap. For ants, Insecticidal Soap is instant death. But make sure you water ALL of the soil or some will survive. Expect to see a lot of escapees carrying their little bundles of joy - be prepared with some Insecticidal Soap in a spray bottle.
