Remember, I told you to stake the plants when you potted them up. I actually use two stakes to stabilize my newly potted plumeria, one on one side of the pot and the other on the opposite side. I use cane stakes, and cut them from cane growing wild here. You can purchase cane stakes at the big box stores. They are inexpensive. You can actually use anything you have handy that is stiff and thin and of course, non-toxic.

Yes, as the plants begin to actively grow again (probably spring for you and I) those roots will take off, quickly filling the pots. The plants won't budge then. Also, you can bury the plants a bit more than just the roots. It won't hurt the plants as long as you have well draining soil. I generally bury my newly rooted ones 2-3" deep.
