Interesting idea. I do not have a R.O. system. My neighbor does. We are both having the same results. It is making me think it is not only what is in the water but also what is lacking in terms of necessary nutrients. The R.O may filter out the salt but also possibly all other good things and not put in the additional Sulphur the outdoor plants (according to the 'expert') need. Any thoughts?

AG, for my Orchids, Adeniums (both seedlings and adults) and my Plumeria seedlings I mix 1/4tsp of this - http://www.supplysource.com/Po... and about the same of Epson Salts into a gal of RO water. I use this as a mist on the orchids. For feeding I mix (depending on the time of year, at the moment 1/4th tsp) of MSU in with 1gal of RO water and use this to feed my orchids weekly and my seedlings every other week. I mist the succulent leaf cuttings I'm starting with RO water with nothing added though I may want to start adding a little of the UltraClean and Epson Salts to see if it helps them to start better.
