Awww! It's not considered even approaching masochistic until one is considering a 7th+ try of a particular plant, and one is going to try in the exact same conditions and with the same exact care that couldn't keep the previous tries alive... How many things does one do well, or even acceptably, on only their 1st or 2nd try?
