Ric, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Holly and Chantell, I use the Plant Lists feature extensively. I think I use more categories than I've seen anyone else do, but it works for me. I have a category set up for each garden, one for each acquisition year, one for pass-along plants, and one for plants that didn't make it. The nice thing about the Plant List feature is that you can tag a plant to multiple categories. There are already categories built in to the tool for the different kinds of plants, so I didn't create any for those - for example I can filter by clematis, but that doesn't meet the need for Holly wanting to include vines in general. I like that with one click I can filter my list for what I have in the Turtle Garden, the Fern Bank, the different areas of my Hillside Shade Garden, etc... , or with another click I can filter my list for everything I acquired in any given year. I kind of cringe when I filter on the plants that didn't make it LOL.
Jill, Meghan, and I certainly had a wonderful day last week. My list of plants is pretty long too - you can't imagine how full that SUV was. Jill certainly is the master at plant packing!!! Meghan probably thought we were crazy when we got our haul loaded and then realized that we could actually squeeze in a little bit more. We both looked at each other with a grin and headed back in to the nursery
The selection and the prices were fantastic. I'd head back there in a heartbeat.
