From your Landscape photo, I had a Eureka! moment when I spotted the name Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) and saw the little mauve - blue blossoms down in the corner of your photo. Thank you @Catmint20906 for labelling your plant, and thanks to @dave for this incredible website!

Just yesterday I was wracking my brain, trying to remember the name of the herb I was given in a Herb workshop in 1982. I brought it along to my new garden in 2010, but couldn't remember what it was called. It was evergreen in my zone 6a to 7a garden, but not always here in my more exposed 5b garden. Now, thanks to this random Landscape photo - which had changed in the time it took to write this - - - I have my answer.

I'm not sure who selects the two Random Plant and Random Landscape Photos or how many times they change in a day, but I'm always curious, and enjoy seeing them.
