sorry for not Naming the plants, I am not that good at knowing the names of succulent and Cactus even though i like them.
thanks to Baja_costero I now know they are Agaves.

thankyou lovely Gardeners for words, likes and acorns.

love old photos too.... this Grandad is on my paternal side and arrived here 1909 his betrothed later in 1914
on my maternal side 1839-1840 and 1862 but some of those are 2nd and 3rd great grands back.
1839 is quite early for NZ.
