As luck would have it, he also loved plants. I invited him to come dig plant stuff on his day off. After about a half hour, I saw him staring at one of our plants in the backyard. When I approached him, he asked if I knew what the plant was. I said it was TX Star Hibiscus and offered him a small one. He declined the offer and said there was another name for it. He thought it was cannabis. He never came back again. I think he figured I was either lying or too dense to realize I was growing pot.
