Chris, I do too. Caladiums always play a part in my containers.
Thankfully there are some sun tolerant ones.

Chris, maybe the bigger the leaves the more room for markings/design? That's why I like foliage more than flowers...I can appreciate the leaves that last longer. Big Grin

Always inspired by your containers. I saved a lot of coleus and cannas over winter that hopefully can be planted out soon. Getting some mixed caladium bulbs. Those 3 will make up most of my containers.

I have coleus and caladiums, but want some cannas badly, and will get some really soon! nodding

Chris, yes the intolerant ones are whites also. I love them against a dark colored bush.

I got this idea from @englishgardener for the pvc pipe.
I think I'll plant it up with candy stripe verbena, white petunias, purple heart, alyssum, strawberries, and who-knows-what else. I'll follow up with pictures.

Here is a cookie jar from the 40's that belonged to my Nonie. I have had it for many years now and felt it was time to pass it on to one of my daughters. Sharon planted it earlier this week with the help of her sister. Love what they did with it.
Creeping phlox and at the back is a low growing oregano.
