This is not Aloe vera, which is an unspotted, pale green plant (spots sometimes appear on juveniles but are mostly gone by the time they grow up). It is one of the spotted aloes, which can be quite hard to distinguish without a flower. Would you like me to move it to the generic aloe page (which I would recommend for any unidentified spotted aloe), or do you have any other info which would help pin it down?
