Here are a few suggestions from my own garden. I'd be happy to send a couple your way.
These are what I consider my top 5 irises of the year, in no particular order.
TB Procrastinator - for its reliability to bloom despite being in iffy soil and rat hell, and its VERY late bloom that extends my bloom season a good two weeks.
TB Daughter of Stars - This is perhaps Don Spoon's (may he rest in peace) greatest creation. A picture perfect luminata that also reblooms and HAS rebloomed for me. This was in bloom for over a month.
TB Adriatic Noble - DEEP purple self that has huge blooms, huge performance and is absolutely one of the prettiest irises I have seen. Bloomed midseason.
TB Australian Rosé- This jumped into my favorite list from the moment the second bloom opened. This is just such a pristine iris. Pictures do not do it justice. It bloomed late season.
TB Butterlicious - this is a "mild" plicata with no need for explosive color combos when it blooms so explosively like it does. Three stalks on one small clump, it took a while to get going, but once it did, heavy performance. Strong, three to four branched stalks with upwards of 10+ buds. A lovely scent as well! Bloomed midseason.
Lastly, I want to highlight one more
TB Table for Two - Talk about dramatic. This is another that took awhile to bloom because of rats and ungreat soil, but thos year, it exploded with stalks that lasted 2 to 3 weeks each. You'll see this from afar, but it is not so explosively colored that it does not look natural. It bloomed very early.
Hope this helps your search!
