I predict that this one will make the "clump" threads this season. I moved it out of the planter, and it is taking off.

Am trying to decide if I like this one or not.

Give Whale Tails at least a season to unbend. I think it's a really beautiful flower and each one is unique. But it took a few seasons to really get going here.

Oh, I will. I did not buy it for a long time because I thought the pictures of the blooms were really funny-looking. Just IMHO. I finally got it because someone posted pictures that were nice-looking (again, IMO), and it has a reputation for rust resistance. I figured it deserved a shot here. If it doesn't get rust, it can stay no matter what it looks like! I am sure it will grow on me. I have at least one other I thought was very odd-looking at first but which I now like.

My bonus plant from Foyd Cove this year. Registered at 7.5" but this bloom is only 5.5". Should improve in the future.

That is beautiful, I seem to really love Floyd Cove plants and reds especially.

'Eaten on Safari': This is a poor looking first bloom on this plant for this year. They looked much better than this last year.

Yes, May is off to a fantastic start - wonderful blooms everyone! This is the only one even close to blooming here, and it's the second flower - showing a few baby teeth now at least. Our weather has not been cooperating so far, so I don't know when I'll have another bloom to post. I do see new scapes appearing all the time, though, so there's hope!
