Thread OP
Northern Michigan zone 5a
I had my Lady of Shallot rose delivered 7 days ago, bareroot. It's been soaking in water ever since because we've had rain every day and the garden is pretty much mud. Should I pot it up until the ground is dry enough to plant it in the spot I ordered it for? I am in Michigan.

Pot it up until it dries out enough to plant. I had to do the same thing with my Munstead Wood rose. A combination of it's spot isn't ready and the weather not working in my favor had me putting it in a pot until I'm ready.

I suggest removing the rose from water and heeling it in. You can read this post or Google it.
