LittleAnnie said: Did you ever get roses last spring or summer from another nursery?
ParisRoseLady said: Yes, I did, I ordered several times from High Country Roses and Heirloom. Each time it was 100% professional, and the roses were shipped on the agreed-upon day, arriving in excellent condition.
crystalchild said: I'm on the same boat. I placed an order late August. I received a partial order in mid September. I asked Chamblee's to send the other half of my order by the following week. That was more than a month ago. I finally asked for a refund, and I'm yet to see my money back. I will call my bank and report this on Monday. As far as my experience goes, this business is not only unprofessional but also unethical.

tigerpaws said: That is certainly no way to do business. PRL ordered in May and received nothing and Crystalchild ordered in August and received some of their order. You would think the people who ordered earlier would receive attention first.

LittleAnnie said: Also, these people at Chamblee's have had ample time to resolve all these problems...that is if they really wish to do so. I do wish the attorney general in Texas would do something, however, I believe if people would contact their own att. general in their state he or she may get in touch with the one in Texas and insist something be done with this business.\
teacup754 said: Unfortunately the Texas Attorney General's office may not be as functional as it should be. He was involved in an impeachment trial with the legislature this summer and still has some legal trial pending. I am not sure how many good staff is left or if there is a lot of turnover.
crystalchild said: I am thinking of filing a complaint with FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center. Please see the "other cyber crime" section, which includes non-delivery of merchandise purchased online.
Since I cannot post the link to the site, please search "FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center."
ParisRoseLady said: Tigerpaws, the only possible way Chamblee's could attempt to "make things right" with their defrauded customers would be an immediate refund to everyone concerned. Instead, they want to engage by email with people, presumably to embroil them in the drama of their supposedly victimized nursery (tornado hardships, customer service hardships, etc), which would presumably be followed by more empty promises for delivery of the roses people had ordered way back when. If the whole situation weren't so tragic, it would be comical. But, it's NOT comical, it's shocking and disgusting, and the actions they have perpetrated on unsuspecting customers this season is criminal. They do not deserve to be in business, period. Plus, there must be actual criminal penalties for what happened, businesses need to be sanctioned for unlawful practices.
Ichika said: Totally agree and I have done everything you advised! I never receive my March 2022 orders from One Love and am very frustrated after numerous attempts to get my roses or refunds without success.
Then I saw someone mentioned on FB groups that you can dispute the charges with credit card companies for preorders within a period from the pushback delivery date not the original payment date. Finally, I had my money back from my credit card company 19 months after the payments made and 45 days after opening the cases.
It's a nightmare dealing with this business and don't want anyone to go through this again. I have also learned not to trust any so call "influencer(s)" on preordering roses over the purchase protection period unless they are reputable businesses.
LittleAnnie said: There are many great rose nurseries to order from. They will give satisfaction and if not, they will either refund the money spent or let you choose a new plant. If you are wondering about a nursery before ordering, just ask in here. We have people who have been growing roses for many years and they know all the good businesses. It's a shame Chamblee has ruined what used to be a great business.
Ichika said: Thank you! I have ordered from other mail order nurseries without any issue so never thought of scamming can happen in the rose industry. Chamblee's/One Love claims chargeback hurts their business but actually they are the one hurting ALL small businesses by taking away people's trust toward the industry especially the preorder practice.
