It only lasted one season. Want to get another one!

There's just one that returns here, and it's in the most unlikely spot; a fairly dark corner that rarely gets weeded.

I think that these are monocarpic and they die after flowering.
They sometimes then reseed.
I have them here too.

I buy one every year because they have such a great color , but they never come back.

There is a very pale blue one also but it is harder to find. (also never comes back)

Maybe I'll start doing that too (getting one every year)!

Just for the color and to attract Hummingbirds!

Just a hint if you buy it from a box store they sell them as perennials so keep your receipt and get another one the next year. I think of it like getting half price
