Mirror, mirror

I used a mirror image of a section of a lilac bloom cluster to allow me to fill the banner with larger views of the florets.

Very cool! And it makes a very beautiful banner too.

Oh both the flower of the lilac and the blooms are beautiful!

I love lilacs. Since my new neighbor cut the one down when they moved in, I need to find a way to fit one into my yard soon. Beautiful banner, Elizabeth, and love the way you mirrored it. I do that for a lot of projects, but never thought of doing it for a banner.

Here's the photo I started with. It's what I call a 'curbside shot', i.e. a shot of some anonymous person's yard plantings, taken from a public sidewalk or the street. I never walk into people's yards unless I know them, or ask their permission.
