Thanks, everyone! I got a grey flower out of the set of 4 plants. It's so different from the parent flower. It photographed lavender but it's due to the grow lights giving it the off color.

We end the year with Furisode, its first and hopefully not the last, flower. Last grown by me in 2006. The flower is huge compared with its tiny plant size. The flower is a charming pale pink color. I included a photo from 2006 of the mother plant's bloom.

Thank you Loretta. I enjoyed it too. I was amazed that such a tiny plant could produce such a large flower. Let's hope it produces a seed so I can grow it again to keep the cultivar alive and can share.
