White Flowering Tree

No idea what tree, but that spot looked so peaceful. Taken late March one year at Chicago Botanic Garden.

You captured the tree and its setting beautifully. Its general appearance, and the early bloom date makes me wonder if it's some kind of weeping Japanese cherry.

Some type of weeping cherry just stuck in my mind for it for some reason, but I thought most of those have pinkish flowers and I'm certainly no expert. Here's the full image, take March 25, 2012. I normally would have edited out the person who dared to get in my pic! But it didn't matter for the banner.

Nancy! As soon as I saw the banner! I knew it was your photo! You take great scenery photos and I didn't realize there was a person in the photos.

I must be blind, but I do not see a person in your lovely photo.

There is a runner or walker on the sidewalk on the up left side. Look close!

Didn't even notice the jogger, but I think she/he is perfectly in tune with the image.
