I am searching for these seeds and finding conflicting information on their viability
Has anyone grown mugwort from seeds?

I have never tried to grow it from seed , but in the gardens I have cared for, once established almost impossible to get rid of.
I would guess there is someone in your area willing to share a root or two
If not in the spring I can find some and send, I see it growing wild in some of the places I walk
I have the limelight one in my garden , basically the same but with a variegated leaf
I have never seen a seedling so maybe not propagated by seed Shrug!

Thanks Cinda. I don't know anyone here who even knows what it is.
I was checking into seeds because I need to plant a large patch of it.
I use it to help with the extreme me light sensivity I deal with due to an eye condition. Only thing I've found that works so far.
Trying to find out if other Artemis is a have the same compounds as the Artemisa vulgaris. It contains both alpha and beta carotene which seems to be the key.

While you're waiting to grow it, you can buy the dried herb online. You probably knew that

Seeds are online, too

A close relative, Artemisia annua is used in Chinese medicine and has recently gotten attention from medical researchers for a wide-ranging number of potentially beneficial properties. Of particular interest is its signature sesquiterpene lactone, artemisinin the same found in A. vulgaris.

Cinda it can be used in both those forms. I also tested it as a powder in capsules.
What I found is that for me. An applie cider vinegar tincture worked the best. One of my brothers had good results with an alcohol tincture the capsules are slower to work but they do work.
NMoasis thank your or all the information.
Yes I am aware it can be bought online in dried from. I have some on hand and was planning for next year's gardening seasoning when I started looking for seeds. Some say the seeds are not viable and not worth sowing. Other say they can be sown with good results.
I will check your links out shortly.
Wormwood is closely related to mugwort so I was wondering if it also contains the alpha carrot we which seems to be the main. Compound that helps with he light sensivity. Betta seems to work better for ninth to blindness at least for me.
I currently use 4 different herbs for my eyes. Still testing other herbs that are said to help with one or the other condition
