Sensory Overload

"Every day I see or hear something that more or less kills me with delight, that leaves me like a needle in the haystack of light." – by the late poet, Mary Oliver

I'm afraid the source image, which has an elongated aspect ratio, won't appear much, if any, larger than the banner when you open it, given the compression algorithm used on this site, but for what it's worth, here it is.

It is clear that Mary Oliver had experienced some of the same sensory overload I have experienced, and that can nearly overwhelm a person on a fine spring day, when she wrote those words.
