An inescapable fate

All the beautifully colored leaves and fruits of autumn end up the same way - on the ground. But that's an excellent place to view them, when the wind isn't tossing them around.

Pefect banner for fall, the various colored leaves are so pretty! The other day as I was driving and watching leaves blowing around, I really thought how pretty it all was, that I really don't mind losing summer for fall.

I love still lifes...there's so much beauty, even as the garden starts to go dormant, if you just stop to look.

Would be interesting to take pics of the same exact spot over a year (e.g. 1/week) to see the changes. I think I'll do just that.

This is a perfect example of beauty being "all in the details" and perfection in its combination, and visa versa. Great autumn banner.
