Hi, I'm not sure if this is Choco Chip. The leaves on the bloom stalk look too wrinkly/crinkly to me. Do you have photos of the regular carpeting leaves? Here is a photo for comparison of the leaves on the Choco Chip variety.

I think I took that photo in 2015, so I'm unlikely to have a real clear recollection. I do know I have only one "miniature" variety of ajuga in my yard, and that is 'Chocolate Chip'. Perhaps the leaves were crinkled in that photo due to lack of moisture or? The lower leaves look like 'Chocolate Chip' to me. So yes, I'm pretty sure of the ID.

At any rate, free to ask for the removal of the photo if it concerns you. There are dozens of photos of 'Chocolate Chip' in the database without it!
