Dripping with blooms

The banner was taken from a photo of a large shrub of hardy fuchsia growing on a hillside in County Clare, Ireland

Looks like a hummingbird magnet. Not sure if Ireland has hummingbirds.

I've only seen fuchsias in hanging planters, never a bush, it's beautiful! And yes, it's too bad Ireland doesn't have hummingbirds, they'd never leave that bush. Wonderful banner!

I didn't think Ireland was so warm that fuchsia would overwinter! Quite an impressive display!

The shrub was thriving, so I guess the climate agreed with it. Here's the source image from which I took the banner crop.

Hummingbirds could set up home inside that bush and it would be like living in a high-rise... just take the elevator down to grocery stores and restaurants!

This banner made me look up Ireland's climate and it's remarkably mild and consistent weather, ranging from 40°-70°. After dealing with 93° already in early May, shoveling snow every winter, that really sounds like heaven.
