Japanese Painted Fern

While it's not bright colors, the subtle shades and textures are why I love this fern. The leaves almost look more silvery than green.

Lovely. All the different orientations of the fern fronds keep my eye dancing around in the image. Quite enough to hold my interest without any bright colors.
