Deep Blue Delphiniums

Few flowers can achieve a true deep blue the way some delphiniums do. I'm afraid I don't know the cultivar name for this one.

Gorgeous true blue!

I'd like to try growing them, but am afraid they would need more attention than I want to give. I know they need staking and regular watering. But with color like that, might be worth it.

As @lauriemorningglory mentioned, delphiniums can require staking. This one was a case in point. The bloom spike was essentially horizontal when I saw and photographed it!
