Each year since 1973, the Texas-based National Gardening Association works with professional pollsters to conduct the National Gardening Survey, which offers valuable insights into the mindset of gardeners across the United States. To help break the data down to better understand what gardeners think, Joe's guest this week is National Gardening Association Executive Director Dave Whitinger.

Am I understanding correctly that there are 2 surveys mentioned, an annual NGA survey, and a separate quadrennial "What Gardeners Think" survey?

Is there information published about how the surveys are conducted? About the results?

I look forward to listening to the podcast as soon as my schedule permits, but I absorb better when reading, especially if there are any charts or graphs.

Thank you!!

Really the podcast page at joe gardener has the most complete summary of the research out there. He did an amazing job putting that summary together.

The reports themselves aren't freely available so there's no link I can offer you for that. Smiling
