I appreciate everyone's comments, likes and acorn(s). Eastern redcedar is a juniper (Juniperus virginiana) common in the plains. Extremely tough native plant. It can be a little aggressive in unmanaged areas (unmanaged pastureland for example) because birds spread the seed.
