Thread OP

Hi all - I'm new to this gardening thing, so bear with me! I have a hibiscus in a pot I brought in from outdoors (Zone 6a) to overwinter. A couple of weeks after bringing in, her top leaves turned yellow, dried out, and fell off. I did slack a little on watering the first couple of weeks unfortunately. I also don't have much natural light, so I am using broad spectrum UV lights indoors.
I am thinking my leaf issue is probably from under watering?
Any other ideas? Or suggestions?

I don't see any spots that are powdery, no bugs seen, leaves don't look chewed. Our house is somewhere between 65-70 currently.

Thanks! Thank You!

Hibiscuses are full sun plants. Lack of sunlight can cause overall yellowing of the leaves. Just bringing them inside will result in yellowing so expect some yellowing when you do that in the Fall.

Other causes: soil moisture problems (too much or too little); soil compaction; being root bound; poor drainage (check the pot's drainage holes); keep it away from heat/air vents.
