I am wondering about the ID of this plant... seems to be something other than americana, though I can't quite put my finger on it. The leaves are straight and flat, and the size is kind of small.

@mcvansoest can you lend us your opinion? I'm thinking something in the rigidae maybe. Lin, do you have some insight about this plant? Maybe this is just one of the many varieties of americana that I haven't ever seen.

Thank You!

I think that is what gets sold at Agave angustifolia variegata, but what is likely Agave viviparra variegata. I could go a few streets over and take a picture of a neighbor's yard and it would look pretty much the same (except for all the green and water that is).
It is what it is!

Both of my photos at that database entry can be moved over to the general entry for Agave! I am not familiar at all with Agave, I went by the ID given on the Plant ID Forum. Smiling

LOL, to me it doesn't look like any of the photos at the database entry for Bacanora (Agave vivipara) either!

I have moved these 2 photos to the genus entry for agave. Thank you Thijs for your input, and thank you Lin for pointing out the other image that I hadn't noticed.
