I guess I just want sympathy, Sad . Not really, but I am disappointed. My Canon T3i died in June 2019, and after 9 months of waiting to see if the new Canon T8i would be released, in February, I finally saw it announced for release in April, so I went through the Canon upgrade program to replace my T3i with the T8i on February 20.

Well, now it is going to be at the very least late June before it is released and Canon isn't the only company with problems.

While I still have my Canon Powershot S5IS and Canon A650IS, I guess I can't complain, but what a bummer! I had so hoped to use the new camera throughout the garden this summer.

When I think about it, I should be thankful that this is the only problem I have right now. Others are dealing with so much worse. That puts things in perspective, so I talked myself out of the doldrums.
