Baja Banners are unique, interesting and very educational in addition to their subtle beauty! I tip my hat to you.

above picture from in full sun , north san diego county,
those are potato plants coming up to protect them in full summer, they burn in full sun
have the other larger variety also in full sun, it takes the strong light and heat better

I grow 100's, mostly in the greenhouse, 4" to 16" diameter plants,
difficult to separate, cut your hands badly but is fastest way,
ants love to make colonies under roots,
slow to root and make a decent size to sell,
thats why they they sell for so much, especially for a larger plant,
a 12" full dome is 7+ years old,
slow but steady, it even grows like a turtle
neon green flowers February thru May, only a few at a time

The banner is very stunning Baja! (Would've said it sooner if I had been here Feb. 24)

DUETEROCOHNIA LORENTZIANA ( ABROMEITIELLA) 14 " POT GROWN IN FULL SUN
not as attractive as when grown in partial shade, want to see how much abuse it can take. better than brevifolia but not as attractive
