I've wanted to do this for a long time so I finally decided to chop up my E. hookerii. Until I find homes for the cuttings, any advice re how/where to keep them? I think they need to be in the dark but could be wrong. I have no idea as to temperature. I have some kitchen cabinets that stay cool. This time of year I use them like root cellars but that might be too cold.
I have no intention of rooting the cuttings. If anyone wants a few, send me a treemail. (not selling or trading!)
The epi last bloomed in late September.
This is the 'mothership'. She's currently in the sink of a little half bath. I decided not to repot her because I've never had a good place for her.

I am putting cinnamon on the cut ends in case it's true that it's a good thing to do. But I would really like to know where and how to stash them.
Thanks for any advice.
