When I crouched down in the grass to photograph these Spanish Bluebells I was paying little if any attention to the Azaleas behind the bulbs. They served as a color background for the Bluebells and their color was solid enough to NOT be too busy a background.

But later, on the computer screen, the immense contribution the Azaleas made to the image became apparent.

I do not know whether these two plants will bloom simultaneously on a regular basis... I can only hope that will be the case.

Because this is a terrific combination.
