Hi guys, is anyone able to ID this fern for me. And then give me some help. It hasnt looked healthy for a while but recently has been going very brown. Still has lots of new fronds growing but even some of those brown off quickly.

It is in my bathroom in a west facing window.

Thanks!!

Up-pot into a larger container. Don't know what you might acquire in UK, but perhaps you may be over-watering it.

JUST THE OPPOSITE. DRENCH THE PLANT, ALLOWING THE WATER TO RUN THROUGH THE POT. THEN, AFTER IT'S BACK TO MOIST CONDITION REPOT IT INTO A POT 1 SIZE LARGER. BE SURE TO USE A LOOSE SOILWITH PERLITE SO IT WON'T HOLD THE WATER BUT ALLOW IT TO DRAIN THROUGH. REMOVE ALL OF THE BROWN FRONDS. IT SOUNDS LIKE IT REALLY WANTS TO LIVE. I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK

Its looks like a Brake Fern (Pteris). Are the leaves variegated?

It needs to stay moist (but not drenched) with high humidity. It also likes to be rootbound. If its getting direct sun from that window, move it - these are shade plants. Repotting a sick plant is never the best of ideas. Try to fix other problems first.
