Tree aloe with pollen collector
Aloe thraskii in bloom at the start of winter.
The plant is shown here. It's a tree, with time. It has maybe a few inches of stem at this point.

all for the kind words. I have found that if I snap enough pictures, I'll eventually get one with both the bee and the plant in focus (more or less).
Aloe thraskii in a bot garden here after many years for comparison....
